Dell's new Inspiron all-in-ones have 8th-gen processors and an adjustable stand

Dell made a range of product announcements today, all of which are for products that use Intel's new processors that were announced this morning. While the new XPS 15 laptop and the new gaming PCs all use the H-series chips, the company is also introducing some new desktop PCs.

The new all-in-ones come in the form of the Inspiron 24 5000 and the Inspiron 27 7000. As you can see from the image above, they offer the ability to adjust the display's angle, similar to what you'd get with Microsoft's Surface Studio.

Your choice in processor with these new Windows 10 PCs is from Intel's eighth-generation T-series, which is its low-power desktop lineup. The three options for both devices are the Core i3-8100T, i5-8400T, and i7-8700T. While all three processors run at 35W, they're still very different from one another. The Core i3 is quad-core, the i5 is hexa-core, and the i7 is hexa-core and hyperthreaded, meaning that the Core i7-8700T has 12 threads.

The main difference between the Inspiron 24 5000 and the 27 7000 is, as you'd probably guess, the screen size. The 24 5000 offers a 23.8-inch FHD touchscreen, and the Inspiron 27 7000 is 27 inches at up to UHD. Those displays can be powered by up to an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 with 4GB GDDR5 VRAM.

Another thing worth noting is that the camera has a built-in privacy guard, a feature that's becoming more and more popular these days. Just press the top of the machine and the camera will pop out of the top.

The Dell Inspiron 24 5000 is available today, starting at $849.99, with the Inspiron 27 7000 coming in late May and starting at $999.99.
