Apple Hiring Warriors VP Gail Hunter Away From Team

Apple is reaching into the sports business industry for talent as the company hires Warriors VP/Public Affairs & Event Management Gail Hunter. Hunter, who joined the Warriors in '12, will join Apple as Director, Events on March 19, according to the team. Her last day with the Warriors is Friday. Hunter, a '14 SBJ Game Changers award winner, was hired by the Warriors to help the team’s community efforts related to the construction of the $1B Chase Center, set to open in '19. Hunter was not available for comment.
