Bose has revealed its new SoundSport wireless headphone

The trend in wire-free headphones is continuing with Bose now announcing its latest Bluetooth music makers.

These new SoundSport Free in-ear headphones have just been announced and are looking to take aim at Apple's hugely popular AirPods.

Bose says that its new earbuds were engineered to strike a new balance between size, performance, power and stability – in a no-wire, made-for-exercise design.

The SoundSport Free use proprietary StayHear+ Sport tips for a secure, firm fit that’s apparently comfortable for those long hours on the treadmill.

They are offer IPX4 water resistance so should cope with a sweaty workout and last for around five hours on a single charge.

Bose is also boasting a superior sound quality with these headphones using a miniature acoustic package, including Bose digital signal processing, to offer clear music – without cracks, pops, or hisses.

“The SoundSport Free is the closest thing to what people have always wanted in a sport headphone – a technology-packed solution that’s stripped down to just two rugged earbuds that feel great, stay connected, stay in, and sound amazing,” said Brian Maguire, director, Bose on-the-go products.
