iPhone X Boot Speed vs iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus [Video]

Check out this video comparing the boot speed of the iPhone X to the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

The tests were performed after freshly restoring each device to iOS 11.2 using iTunes. The iPhone 8 won the race with an impressive boot speed of 9.583 seconds, an improvement on its iOS 11.1.2 time of 9.833 seconds. It was closely followed by the iPhone 8 Plus at 9.625 seconds and iPhone X 11.167 seconds. Both of those devices also beat their iOS 11.1.2 times of 10.208 seconds and 11.333 seconds, respectively.

Ios 11 sucks it much slower

Let's be clear here: it's not the iPhone X the one causing lag and sluggishness, it's iOS 11 and its filthy performance. Saw it myself even on iOS 11.2... of course it takes a BIT longer for the X to boot since the screen has a much higher resolution. BTW kewl boot advantage, we've got a winner with the iPhone 8 :P

And no, I don't own an iPhone X, i have an 8 Plus.
