Chuwi reveals its CoreBook tablet powered by Intel Core m3 and 6GB RAM

It was only five months ago that Chuwi introduced its SurBook laptop that had similarities to the Surface Pro 4. As we would later come to find out, the firm would introduce a few devices that had similarities to that of the MacBook Air and also the Surface 3. While these units are pretty interesting, they often lacked the power required to make them true competitors. But before we close out the year, it appears that the firm is finally taking a stand, and introducing something with bit more power.

The CoreBook is its latest product and, as you can tell, offers an extremely svelte design due to it being a tablet. But to ensure that clients will realize proper productivity gains, it will also come with a keyboard cover. As far as power goes, the unit will arrive with an Intel Core m3-7Y30 processor, which is quite a nice boost compared to the previous Intel Apollo Lake N3450 processor.

In addition to the Intel Core m3, the device will also pack 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Those looking for screen real estate will be happy to know that it will offer 13.3-inches of display coming in a resolution of 1080p. Since it is a tablet, it will include support for touch and also stylus input that can accept up to 1024 levels of pressure.

While a traditional password will be able to be used with Windows 10, the CoreBook also features a fingerprint reader built into the display, which should make things more secure and convenient. Although a price is not available from the firm, information will be available starting in mid-November through its upcoming crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.
