Microsoft originally unveiled its Surface Laptop in May in four different colors. While the various colors were available in the US during the June launch, Surface Laptop purchasers outside the US had to buy the regular “platinum” gray color or wait on the color options. Various colors have been appearing in stores outside the US over the past few weeks, and now Microsoft is officially confirming that cobalt blue, burgundy, and graphite gold Surface Laptops are now available in 20 countries.

Alongside the color expansion, Microsoft is also making the Core i7 Surface Laptop (in the regular platinum color) available in Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Microsoft is also expanding the amount of time that Surface Laptop owners have to upgrade free of charge from Windows 10 S to Windows 10 Pro. The ability to switch will be free until March 31st, 2018. That’s a three-month extension on the previous “end of year” promise, and it appears that Microsoft will still be planning to charge Surface Laptop owners $49 to switch to Windows 10 Pro after that date.

The new Surface Laptop colors are now available to order in Canada, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherland, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, Taiwan, HK, China, Norway, Australia, and New Zealand.
