AMD4U announced as AMD and Square Enix partner up to give customers free games

With the launch of its latest Ryzen and Vega range, including the Threadripper platform; AMD has partnered up with the Square Enix Collective to bring its customers some added benefits, beyond having some of the fastest hardware on the market.

The program dubbed AMD4U, aims to reward those with systems sporting the latest AMD processors and graphics cards with new and older games in the Square Enix Collective program. The program introduced by Square Enix assists smaller indie games by promoting them under its umbrella as the press release reads:

There are many amazing indie developers around the world that are creating fantastic games, but they have not yet had their chance to shine. Through AMD and Square Enix partnering on AMD4U, both companies have set a mandate for helping to shine a light on these developers and their amazing games in order to help them reach their potential and bring their vision to the mass market.

The list includes critically acclaimed games like Battalion 1944 from Bulkhead Studios who recently launched The Turing Test; and the upcoming Fear Effect: Sedna. Each eligible customer will be able to choose up to three games from the pre-determined list. To check if your new AMD-powered system is eligible for the program, you can download the verification tool on the AMD4U website. OEM systems that are eligible for this promotion include those from HP, Dell, and Alienware.

AMD recently launched its range of Vega graphics cards, which comes in three options; the Vega56 starts at $399 and goes up to the Vega64 with liquid cooling, which retails for $699. Customers can choose between several bundled offers through the new Radeon Packs initiative; which offers several additional discounts on hardware.
