How To Install HandJoy Multi-System Emulator On iOS 10 [No Jailbreak Required]

Here’s how to download and install HandJoy IPA multi-system emulator app on iOS 10 iPhone or iPad. No jailbreak is required for this to work.

The proposition here is very similar to a previously covered emulator called Happy Chick which basically gives access to functionality which allows the emulation of games from multiple systems and platforms through one interface. Rather than, say, give access to only Game Boy games or Sega Genesis games, this allows emulation for multiple platforms through one app, and here’s how you can go about installing the app.

Step 1: Before you can start to go through the installation process you will need to get HandJoy IPA file. You don’t have to trawl through web pages or forums to get it, or even access the App Store or Cydia and extract it through some laborious process. Thankfully we have the file on hand and you can download it from here.

Step 2: With the IPA file in your possession, it’s now time to get it onto your device as a sideloaded app. Under normal circumstances, we’d go through the App Store for this, and for jailbroken devices, we would enlist the services of Cydia. However, in this instance we are going to take a different approach by using either Xcode 7 or higher or Cydia Impactor:

Step 3: With the HandJoy app sideloaded, it is now time to actually tell iOS that we are happy for the app to be invoked without crashing back to the Home screen. Launch the native Settings app and navigate to General > Profiles & Device Management.

Step 4: Locate the profile assigned to the HandJoy multi-system emulator app and tap onto it. Tap on the Trust option and then select Trust again when the confirmation alert appears.

Step 5: You should now be able to exit out of the Settings app and head back to the Home screen where the HandJoy app is installed. Tapping on it will instantly launch the app and give you access to its full functionality.

Enjoy the unrestricted emulation experience!
