Made With ARKit Previews the 'Coolest Stuff' Made with Apple's New Tool

July 11, 2017

Apple’s ARKit doesn’t officially launch until this fall with the arrival of iOS 11. That hasn’t stopped a new website, Made With ARKit, from launching to highlight some early experiments from developers who are using the new augmented reality tool.

Made for ARKit offers weekly updates showcasing user-submitted projects that use the new tool. Here are three examples:

First introduced at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June, ARKit is a new framework that allows developers to easily create augmented reality experiences for iPhone and iPad.

Apple’s iOS 11 update is likely to arrive in September right before the arrival of the 2017 iPhones. The software includes new multitasking tools for iPad, an updated App Store app, and much more.

For the latest ARKit projects, visit the Made With ARKit website or subscribe to the site’s Twitter feed. You should also consider a new subreddit dedicated to all things ARKit located here.
