Check out Apple's Singapore store, its first in Southeast Asia

Located at the heart of Singapore's Orchard Road shopping belt, Apple's newest Store is the first in Singapore and the Southeast Asia region. It's designed in the style of new Apple stores -- packed with trees and featuring a large open area for the "Today at Apple" program. The store opens this weekend on May 27.

Like every other Apple Store, the main area features wide open spaces with products on wooden tables for users to try.

Apple's retail outlet is also 100 percent powered by renewable energy, using energy derived from rooftop solar panels from local solar firm Sunseap.

Beats earphones take up quite a bit of space at the back wall of the store.

Instead of the glass stairways, the Apple Store in Singapore features a design inspired from its new Apple Park campus, and features hand railings seamlessly etched into the wall.

The stone stairways are located on each side of the store.

The main area of the second floor features a large open space called the Forum, where the company will hold its "Today at Apple" events. The indoor ficus tree come from Malaysia and have an arborist coming in to take care of the trees, including shaking them to dislodge dead leaves.

It's like a jungle inside the store -- an air-conditioned jungle, no doubt.

There's also a hidden business room for private Apple meetings.
