The Intel Skylake-X (Core i9) and AMD Ryzen 9 will reportedly be out in the market anytime soon. Recently surfaced reports are claiming that Intel and AMD are gearing up something for the gaming world.

Intel Skylake-X (Core i9) and AMD Ryzen 9, which are the perfect multi-core gaming CPUs, are reportedly coming out soon. Some media outlets revealed a leaked image on the Intel Skylake-X (Core i9) specs, while other publications revealed the AMD Ryzen 9, Venture Beat reported.

It appears that the two giant processor manufacturers are preparing something to the gaming universe, and the processor manufacturers are starting the secret competition on their own multi-core CPUs. As per AMD, the tech giant claimed that its AMD Ryzen 9 chip is designed to directly compete with the standing of Intel's new high-end chips. The Ryzen 9 1955X processor comes along with 10 cores and 20 threads, 44 lanes of PCIE support, as well as a frequency of 4Ghz.

The AMD Ryzen has started to shake things up, as the semiconductor company is offering more cores for a low price. Following the successful launch of AMD Ryzen 7, Ryzen 5 and the AM4 platform, the Sunnyvale, California based tech company is prepping its X399 chipset and Ryzen 9 CPUs, possibly doubling Ryzen 7's core count, PC Gamer reported.

Meanwhile, Intel will not keep its 7th-gen processors a secret. The four multi-core CPUs under the Skylake-X or the Core i9 were revealed. The Skylake X CPUs are the high-end enthusiast versions.

Though the lineup from AMD and Intel multi-core CPUs has been revealed, there is no official announcement yet from the two giant processor manufacturers. Thus, the exact release dates or even the pricing of the high-end CPUs are still unknown. Nonetheless, the battle against the two giant processor manufacturers will continue on multi-core and high-end CPUs benefiting its fans.
