APPLE iPhone 8 looks set to feature a rear fingerprint scanner and this new render may have just revealed how it will look.

is still months from being launched but the rumours are already coming thick and fast.

It’s thought the next smartphone from Apple will include a number of exciting new features with faster A11 processor, improved cameras and wireless charging all expected.

The device is also likely to include an OLED display which covers the entire front of the device.

Samsung has just released its which now includes an almost bezel-free design and it looks stunning.

However, this giant screen has caused an issue.

The Korean tech firm has had to move the fingerprint scanner from the front to the rear of the phone as embedding this security sensor under the screen was reportedly causing a major headache.

This new placement has created hand contorting problems for early adopters and resulting in grimy fingerprints tainting the S8’s camera lens.

Now it seems Apple may be having similar problems.

Now a render has been created which shows exactly how this new deign will look in the flesh.

The rendered image also shows the dual-lens cameras vertically aligned - this is thought to be included to help with Apple's augmented reality technology.

Apple is expected to pull-out all the stops for its next generation phone, which looks likely to be unveiled in September.

Apple CEO Tim Cook is clearly in no rush to extinguish the growing hype around the forthcoming 10th anniversary iPhone.

During the company’s quarterly earnings call earlier this year, Mr Cook fuelled speculation about Apple’s product roadmap for the next year.

“I think the smartphone is still in the early innings of the game,” the 56-year-old Apple CEO told investors during the earnings call.

“I think there’s lots more to do. Every year, I think it becomes more important to people’s lives, there’s more things people are doing with it.”

Although Apple is currently remaining tight lipped on the matter, the iPhone 8 us expected to be unveiled this September as one of three new high-end handsets.
