With an integrated heart monitor that’s compatible with top fitness apps, including Runkeeper, these wireless sports earbuds are the ones that gym rats have been waiting for. Now that Apple has gone the way of wireless headphones, competition in this space is heating up.
The good: Clear, crisp sound and a comfortable design are the hallmarks of this sweat and water-resistant headphone set. A neckband that connects the buds together makes it less likely they’ll go missing.
The bad: Depending on the shape and size of your head, it’s possible these will be difficult to wear with a helmet. Five-hour battery life is so-so. A separate accessory case that has a built in rechargeable battery costs an extra $50.
The bottom line: Finally, a pair of wireless sport headphones that will stay in your ears and won’t disappear in your gym bag. I’ll be trying to shed those holiday pounds with these pricey buds.
