Intel has made available a new Iris and HD Graphics package, namely version 20.19.15.4530 beta, which confirms the pending driver code changes that should fix crashes and/or unresponsiveness while playing Gears of War 4.

However, even though the present release might resolve some game issues seen across certain platforms, the 4530 beta build is basically a test driver that should be used at your own discretion.

In terms of compatibility, Intel’s update is suitable for configurations running one of Microsoft’s 64-bit architectures of Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems, as well as including a supported CPU model as highlighted on the description page.

When it comes to installation, first make sure your system is valid for this new driver, save and unzip the downloadable archive, and run the available setup file. Afterwards, simply follow all instructions displayed on-screen for a complete and successful upgrade.

In addition to that, once finished, it would be a good idea to perform a system reboot to allow the changes to take effect. If this task isn’t requested, however, make sure to carry it out manually.
