Tips
  • "'My Seagate backup hard drive has 'failed'. I need advice on a fix, to recover all content.': If it's a clone drive, don't bother. Just by a new drive and make a new clone. If it's an incremental backup file, the first question is 'Do I really need those older versions of documents?' If not, same as above. To recover your data, you need to know what failed. If it's disk damage, you might be able to get it running using DiskWarrior. If that doesn't work, you can try a disk recovery application. A disk recovery service is another (expensive) option." MacInTouch 11:31 AM
