Op/Ed
  • "I have never built my own computer, but I would consider a Hackintosh to run Snow Leopard. I want to stay with SL because it's a very stable OS, and I want to continue using some Rosetta-dependent apps. However, the build guides on the TonyMac site for Snow Leopard-compatible machines contain CPUs and motherboards that are now discontinued and unavailable from Amazon and Newegg. I would welcome any information from 'Hackintoshers' about the possibility of using current components for a Snow Leopard installation. If this is possible, what are the recommended components?" MacInTouch 12/20
